About dotcoma: What the hell is this blog? You must be crazy…
About
What was to become this blog started as a newsletter in June 2001,
when the dotcom I was working for in Italy was about to fold.
A couple of months later Marek, a writer and engineer I had
somehow managed to meet, invited me to start blogging on a
hosted version of Userland he set up at RadioPossibility.com.
The current wp-powered version of this blog is v.5: thanks
to all those who have lent a hand, and especially to Andrea.
What started as a chronicle of the crazy ways of the dotcoms
and their huge marketing blunders has turned into a blog about
the biggest swindle of this decade: Social Media Marketing.
And then more: a book! What Happened To Advertising?
