GMail gets chatty and Facebook gets email?

Google to add “social features” to GMail. All of a sudden, Google seems a bit like your spinster aunt. Meanwhile, is Facebook really building an email service of its own? I’m sure they will soon start asking you to rate products and services – and there goes a good part of the search market, too!
